DetailsAn intense frontal system will bring snow to the Whistler region beginning tonight. Near 15 cm of total snowfall accumulation can be expected by the time the snow eases Thursday evening. More snow can be expected on Friday. Strong southeast winds up to 100 km/h will continue tonight over North Vancouver Island and coastal sections of the north and central coasts as the frontal system lies over the regions. The front will move over the south coast tonight resulting in southeast winds up to 70 km/h to develop this evening over West Vancouver Island and regions along the strait of Georgia.
